The tournament realms are a completely separate animal and not a part of the standard World of Warcraft experience. They were not created to give players a chance to get higher ratings than on live realms, as you mentioned. They were created for those who want to participate in a best-of-the-best ladder tournament, with a host of prizes for the champions. </p><p>Limiting specific realms to specific types of game play is not at all likely to produce the results you seem to assume it will. </p><p>I’m unable to provide greater detail at this time, but we have some better ideas in the works to afford players better opportunities to connect with like-minded individuals to experience the content they want to experience. </p>
